Paint Your Own Revolution

In 2016 I suffered incredible shoulder pain as I was struck down with Parsonage Turner Syndrome (a nasty auto-immune disease). As a result of the pain and limitation of movement I stopped being able to paint large expressive abstracts. I looked for a new manageable direction for my work, and this is the result. My interest in politics, and how individuals can influence the world led me to painting inspiring and revolutionary individuals. As I write (in the heat of June 2019) I continue to do so. I was pleased to exhibit much of this work at ArtRooms Roma in spring 2019, and photos of this are also shown on this page.
